In 2018 Candice boarded a plane to Cape Town, South Africa. Little did she know…the Lord was doing a much deeper work in her life. You see, the Lord is the ultimate gardener of the soul. He doesn’t rush, and He never wastes a moment. Just like a farmer prepares the soil.. the Lord prepares our hearts. Sometimes through brokenness, change, or long seasons of waiting. Then, all of a sudden, in His perfect timing… His perfect plan blooms. Just as the Lord made Jacob wait 7 years for Rachel… that is much like our story. The Lord used those 7 years to grow us closer to His heart, and ultimately prepare us for one another. In Scripture the number 7 has significant prophetic meaning. It means completion and perfection (Genesis 2), holiness (Revelation 1:4) Covenant and divine purpose (Genesis 21) Cycles and time (Leviticus 25) and in general prophetic symbolism (7 churches, & 7 seals, 7 trumpets, 7 bowls) We truly see the fingerprint of God not only in our individual lives… but in our relationship. Our courtship has been so beautiful. We have witnessed the Lord do countless miracles together, which has deeply encouraged our hearts. Some of our favorite things to do together have been long walks on the beach talking about life, morning coffee dates, attending church together, traveling, laughing (which we do a lot of!) cooking dinners, long drives exploring Cape Town, ministering to others in need, spending weekends at Joels parents house and so much more!

While we eagerly want to share the specific derails of the dreams, prophetic words/visions about our lives coming together… we desire to preserve that for the wedding ceremony. We can’t wait to celebrate and give Glory to God with all of you so very soon!
